When I’m not binging the latest Netflix gem or hanging out with my two adorable boxer mixes, you’ll find me dreaming big, chasing goals, and pouring my heart into every project I take on. I met my husband working at a travel company - so adventure runs deep in my soul - and I bring that same passion and curiosity into my work.

Hi there! I’m Ariel and I’m a photographer who believes you’re always worth celebrating!
Every person and event has special moments and memories worth capturing. Whether these moments are planned or candid; it’s my passion to capture those magical moments, so they and you can be celebrated for a life time.
I’m a proud dog mama of two boxer mixes, originally from New Jersey. I’ve lived in the King County, WA area for over a decade now; and I’m grateful to call Washington my home. I’m an outgoing introvert at heart. I love traveling, roller coasters, reality TV and movies of all kinds; and I love going on small adventures to hobby lobby, local festivals and restaurants.
My passion around photography started when I was a tween in middle school. You would always catch me with a disposable camera, snapping pictures when you’d least expected it. The thrill of capturing candid and fun memories grew from there.
I’ve always loved working with people and making their experiences as rich as possible. This is what lead me to work in the travel and customer service industry. With over 10 years of experience in these fields; this has allowed me to foster a safe space, where my clients feel comfortable to be their authentic selves with me, have fun; and trust that I understand their vision, through the preparation I do while getting to know them, their vision and their unique comfort level. So, that when we're working together, they know that they're getting a professional, that understands their specific needs and is going to provide a high quality product; alongside a high quality experience.

What’s your favorite moment to capture at a wedding?
First look! It’s intimate, pure and absolutely filled with emotion; which always gives me happy goosey’s.
Are you more of a candid moment hunter or a detail-shot perfectionist?
Candids all the way! I aim to capture the purest of emotions.
One thing you always bring to a wedding (besides your camera)?
Gum and dental floss. I gotta stay fresh!
Mountains or beach?
Both! This is none negotiable, since I live in the Pacific North West.
What’s your ideal “day off” look like?
A snuggle sesh with the pups, perhaps a little thrift shopping; and binge watching something good on Netflix.

To book successfully book a session, you’ll first need to complete the steps below:
*If you have already booked a session successfully, then feel free to jump down to #5.
Once you’ve reviewed the package offerings and know which one of the packages you’d like to move forward with; you can submit your interest and contact details via the ‘Submit Inquiry’ button found on each respective package page.
Within the ‘Inquiry Form’ you’ll submit; you’ll be able to select a preferred date, which you’d like to reserve for your photo session.
We will confirm the date(s) availability within 48 hours.
Assuming the date stated has availability, the client will receive a follow-up email consisting of a photo service agreement; and request for a non-refundable 50% deposit to secure the selected date/package.
Once a client has successfully secured a package and date, the client will receive a confirmation email with any next steps requested.
Clients will also receive reminder emails, as well as a text, the week of their session.
Clients will be able to view their photos through an online digital gallery called Pic-Time.
Clients can download their photos; or choose from a range of other printing services that Pic-Time provides:
Floating frames
Individual prints
Calendars
Metal prints
And much more

You will be able to view your photos through an online digital gallery.
You can download your photos for free; or print your photos through the gallery host Pic-Time; which is a platform that has a range of extra printing services to choose from such as:

This timeframe will vary, based on the package you select. On average:
Wedding packages take around 3 months.
Event packages take around 2 months.
Family portraits sessions take around 2 months.
Individual & professional headshots sessions take around 1 month.
*Please note that these are averages. Depending on the seasonality of when a session is scheduled for; timeframes may vary.

Yes. Once you have confirmed what package you’d like to move forward with; we’ll be able to send over an service agreement to secure your booking.
A 50% nonrefundable deposit will be collected at the time of the service agreement being signed to reserve the service package and date selected.
The remaining, outstanding balance will be due after the service has been provided through Auto Pay (Honeybook). The auto draft will take place one day prior to the service date; so that the remaining balance will be received 2-3 business days post the service date.

A few things to note:
The package prices shown on the ‘Services & Prices’ page are excluding tax. All prices are shown in the currency of USD. Tax will be added based on the city the session is scheduled to take place in.
Please note an extra fee may apply if your desired photoshoot location is in the San Juan Islands or in the Olympic Peninsula.
If you’d like a second shooter (this is primarily for wedding packages), please connect with me directly; since this price is subject to change based on the time of the year and market conditions.

Once an agreement has been signed and the 50% nonrefundable deposit has been received; this secures the session and grants the client permission to reschedule their service date, if needed.
Note: A client may reschedule their service date one time only. Unless otherwise stated by us in writing.
To reschedule, a client must provide us written notice; at a minimum of one week prior to the service date stated.
