Hi there! I’m Ariel and I’m a photographer who believes you’re always worth celebrating!

Every person and event has special moments and memories worth capturing. Whether these moments are planned or candid; it’s my passion to capture those magical moments, so they and you can be celebrated for a life time.

I’m a proud dog mama of two boxer mixes, originally from New Jersey. I’ve lived in the King County, WA area for over a decade now; and I’m grateful to call Washington my home. I’m an outgoing introvert at heart. I love traveling, roller coasters, reality TV and movies of all kinds; and I love going on small adventures to hobby lobby, local festivals and restaurants.

My passion around photography started when I was a tween in middle school. You would always catch me with a disposable camera, snapping pictures when you’d least expected it. The thrill of capturing candid and fun memories grew from there.

I’ve always loved working with people and making their experiences as rich as possible. This is what lead me to work in the travel and customer service industry. With over 10 years of experience in these fields; this has allowed me to foster a safe space, where my clients feel comfortable to be their authentic selves with me, have fun; and trust that I understand their vision, through the preparation I do while getting to know them, their vision and their unique comfort level. So, that when we're working together, they know that they're getting a professional, that understands their specific needs and is going to provide a high quality product; alongside a high quality experience.

The recipe for capturing magic!

It’s pretty simple actually. My recipe has 3 simple ingredients:

Learn. Plan. Observe.

  1. Learn. First, I need to get to know the client! It’s important to get to know you, so I can tailor our session based off of your vision or so I can help provide recommendations based on what you’re comfortable with or have interest in.

  2. Plan. Plan! Plan! Then plan some more. Once I understand more about your vision and the event, I like to plan out everything in detail; so when it comes to game day; you can be rest assured I’ve got you covered!

  3. Observe. Sometimes you need to be ready to throw out the plan to capture something spectacular! At any session, something unexpected can happen. Your dog licking off your makeup, a child busting a move; or a hilarious joke causing uncontrollable belly laughter. Even though those moments weren’t planned, it doesn’t mean they’re not worth celebrating!

What to expect

  • My work focuses on portrait and event photography; which for me includes:

  • To book successfully book a session, you’ll first need to complete the steps below:

    *If you have already booked a session successfully, then feel free to jump down to #5.

    1. Once you’ve reviewed the package offerings and know which one of the packages you’d like to move forward with; you can submit your interest and contact details via the ‘Submit Inquiry’ button found on each respective package page.

    2. Within the ‘Inquiry Form’ you’ll submit; you’ll be able to select a preferred date, which you’d like to reserve for your photo session.

    3. We will confirm the dates availability within 48 hours.

    4. Assuming the date state has availability, the client will receive a follow-up email consisting of a photo session agreement; and request for a non-refundable 50% deposit to secure the selected date/package.

    5. Once a client has successfully secured a package and date, the client will receive a guide to ensure they feel confident and prepare for their photo session.

      Clients will also receive reminder emails, as well as a text, the week of their session.

    6. Clients will be able to view their photos through an online digital gallery called Pic-Time.

      Clients can download their photos; or choose from a range of other printing services that Pic-Time provides:

      • Floating frames

      • Individual prints

      • Calendars

      • Metal prints

      • And much more

    7. Let us know how we did!

  • You will be able to view your photos through an online digital gallery.

    You can download or print your photos through the gallery host Pic-Time; which is a platform that has a range of printing services to choose from such as:

    • Floating frames

    • Individual prints

    • Calendars

    • Metal prints

    • And much more

  • This timeframe will vary, based on the package you select. On average:

    • Individual & professional headshots sessions take around 1 month.

    • Family portraits sessions take around 2 months.

    • Wedding packages take around 3 months.

    *Please note that these are averages. Depending on the seasonality of when a session is scheduled for; timeframes may vary.

  • Our systems are synced with an online digital gallery platform called Pic-Time; which provides a range of printing services to choose from such as:

    • Floating frames

    • Individual prints

    • Calendars

    • Metal prints

    • And much more

Financial Policies

  • The price for photo sessions are subject to vary, based on the package selected.

    Please see the ‘Services & Prices’ page; for package and pricing details.

  • Yes. Once you have confirmed what package you’d like to move forward with; we’ll be able to send over an agreement to secure your booking.

    • A 50% nonrefundable deposit will be collected at the time of the agreement being signed to reserve the service package selected.

    • The remaining, outstanding balance will be due after the service has been provided through Auto Pay (Honeybook).

  • A few things to note:

    • The package prices shown on the ‘Services & Prices’ page are excluding tax. All prices are shown in the currency of USD. Tax will be added based on the city the session is scheduled to take place in.

    • Please note an extra fee may apply if your desired photoshoot location is in the San Juan Islands or in the Olympic Peninsula.

    • If you’d like a second shooter (this is primarily for wedding packages), please connect with me directly; since this price is subject to change based on the time of the year and market conditions.

  • Once an agreement has been signed and the 50% nonrefundable deposit has been received; this secures the session and grants the client permission to reschedule their service date, if needed.

    Note: A client may reschedule their service date one time. Unless otherwise stated by us in writing.

    To reschedule, a client must provide us written notice; at a minimum of one week prior to the service date stated. 

    *Terms are subject to vary for packages inside the Wedding category.

  • We hope you love your experience with us. Leaving a tip for us is a great way to show your appreciation. Cash/Venmo is great!

    If you don’t choose to tip, we still love you and don’t think any less of you.

    There are many other ways to support us that are not monetary.

  • Sure thing! If you’re looking for advance on what to wear; I’d be happy to provide a few ideas, based on your interests and vision for the photoshoot.

    However, you know you best! So be sure to wear something that feels good to you; since that will show on camera! :)

  • My style of photography aims around capturing raw and genuine moments!

    I strive for this, by fostering a warm and safe environment for my clients; so they can feel comfortable expressing their authentic selves.
